Joe Weeks moved back to Solon to help establish Bluestone Engineering's Eastern Iowa presence. He graduated from Solon High School and attended Kirkwood Community college where he excelled in basketball. After Kirkwood, Joe received his engineering degree from the University of Iowa in 2018 and started at Bluestone Engineering, working as a mechanical engineer for the Des Moines office.
